The project was represented by the Coordinator Mr Leonidas Somakos who was invited as keynote speaker in order to present the main goals and targets of project RECDEV and discuss the potential of the final deliverables with participants of the Forum. Three 25-minute presentations were held with participants from the Business Sector, Academia and SMEs, who chose our project as an interesting Case Study.
All participants addressed various issues and aspects of the project, entered in discussions regarding the applicability of the project and the potential it has and offered valuable thoughts and recommendations for the future.
In one of the three sessions we had the pleasure to have as attendant Mr. Hugo-Maria Schally (Head of Unit - Eco-Innovation & Circular Economy) who expressed his interest and support for the project and also proposed possible extension of the relevant activities within the European Initiative SWITCH ASIA/AFRICA, as well as Mr Felix Rohn (European Commission, DG Education and Culture - EAC) who has been supporting our project since the very beginning and was the one who initially proposed our participation in the relevant event.
It has been a significant opportunity for disseminating the project and we look forward to similar events in the near future.
