The conference is organized by the Society of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety (SECOTOX) and the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly, Greece, in collaboration with the German Research Center for Environmental Health, Germany, the Sector of Industrial Management and Operations Research, School of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Greece, the Division of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Food Technology Department, Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece.

All professionals, researchers, environmentalists and policy makers involved or interested in the area of the conference are invited to present papers relating to the conference topics. Indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation. Authors are requested to submit abstracts, by e-mail as a Word file attachment to the Symposium Secretariat, by March 1, 2015.
